Martin H2023-10-06Suchtgefahr Während unseres Urlaubes auf Mauritius im September 2023 haben wir jeweils 9 Tauchgänge mit Bigorno Diving gemacht. Der Shop, die reichlich vorhandene Leihausrüstung und die beiden Boote waren in einem qualitativ sehr guten Zustand. Das gesamte Team rund um den Basisleiter Jordan agiert sehr kunden- und serviceorientiert und ist stets zu Späßen aufgelegt. So herrschte vor und nach den Tauchgängen stets eine sehr lustige und lockere Atmosphäre an Bord und es wurde sehr viel gelacht. Lediglich bei den Briefings und bei sicherheitsrelevanten Themen herrschte der nötige Ernst. Die Guides geben einem das Gefühl, dass sie aus Leidenschaft tauchen und nicht nur des Berufs wegen. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch die Vielfalt der Tauchspots vor Troux aux Biches. Es stehen mehrere Riffs und Wracks zur Auswahl, welche von Bigorno Diving auch bestens genutzt wird. So haben wir bei unseren 9 Tauchgängen nur einen Spot, das Wrack KT Mawar zweimal betaucht. Einmal am Tag und einmal als Nachttauchgang. Die anderen 7 Tauchgänge wurden immer an anderen Spots durchgeführt. Sollten wir wieder nach Mauritius kommen werden ein paar Tauchgänge bei Bigorno Diving fix auf dem Plan stehen. Danke Jordan, Esther, Sarah, Loik, Stéphane, Akshay und die beiden Boot Skipper (leider weiß ich die Namen nicht mehr) für die unvergesslichen Tauchgänge und die schöne, lustige Zeit bei euch an die wir uns noch lange erinnern werden…
roremc2023-09-21Great service, great diving! Having come off a few diving trips with bad service, it was so refreshing to see such great service from Bigorno. From working with team via WhatsApp to sort out prices/sites/times etc, to being fitted with gear and the entire dive the service was 10/10. Gear was near new, had plenty of sizes and the changing area and post dive washup area are well setup. We dived on the Japanese fishing wreck which was great, our guide was respectful to our surroundings and had an eagle eye to spot all sorts of cool fish and creatures. Post dive the crew were a lot of fun and had endless information for us about the area. Should also mention the boat was spacious, modern and fully shaded which is important given the temps. If I am ever back here again, definitely diving with Bigorno.
Kessie B2023-09-16It was a dream diving journey!! Wouldn't dive with anyone else!! Absolutely outstanding diving center. All the divemasters are very serious with all safety rules and are very knowledgeable of all the dive sites and fish species. The ambiance on the boat was always lively and cheerful. We decided to do our advanced open water with them and it really was a dream diving journey. All equipment was as clean as new, everything was fully functional (no wear and tear, no rust). We had safety briefing everyday before every dive even if we had dived the day before with the same instructor which shows how careful and serious they are. It was my birthday and they accepted to lend us a full pro underwater photography gopro, our instructor Ashkay took tons of pictures for us I was so grateful!! We had the most wonderful time! The next day our other instructor Loic also took many professional pictures of us and generously shared them with us. It was a memorable experience. We will come back for sure!!!
Rujina2k122023-09-14What an experience!!!! My husband and I booked this outstanding diving centre for one of our many excursions during our honeymoon. Unfortunately I was not able to do the experience due to an accident. However, my husband did and what an experience this was with superb training from a professional trainer by the name Anti. She was absolutely meticulous when it came to training us. The staff were so accommodating, even though I didn't do the dive, I was still able to go on the boat and watch the dive happen. I was heavily looked after by the team, with a certain individual (forgot his name) who checked on me when I was being seasick. All in all will 100% recommend them! Thank you so much.Igor2023-09-13Best dive centre in Mauritius I can recommend Bigorno Diving Centre for everyone, beginners and professionals. I did here advanced open water certificate and nitrox certification. My wife did here her open water certificate. The stuff is very professional and safety measures are kept to the highest standards. Everything is explained carefully, if you need a little more time with some exercises, this is taken into consideration, without any problems or you feeling back. The equipment is in very good condition, you get the same equipment for all dives, if you do them more than 1 day. The oxygen quality is very good, the air is not dry, as in some places. There is a very good atmosphere between the crew and the divers, you see that the instructors do what they love. Moreover, the diving sites are beautiful, you can dive to see corals and wrecks. We did see a lot of different fishes, octopus but sea turtles as well. If you are looking for a dive centre with fun, relaxed, yet professional crew, this is a place for you. Je recherchais un centre de plongée sur la côte Ouest de l'île, Bigorno avait été recommandé plusieurs fois sur un groupe Facebook. Après avoir visité plusieurs centres de plongée et discutée avec les instructeurs, j'ai décidée de faire ma plongée avec Bigorno. Jordan et Esther ont su répondre à toutes mes questions. Après avoir effectué ma première plongée avec Biogorno, j'ai décidée de poursuivre la formation Open Water :) Avinash a été l'instructeur qui m'a accompagnée et formée, il a été très patient et pédagogique pour quelqu'un comme moi qui était un peu stressée au départ. Merci à Jordan, Avinash et Esther pour votre aide et professionnalisme !

Très à l’écoute, très bienveillants, ils vous feront découvrir les meilleurs spots et en vous donnant des conseils pour toujours progresser, quel que soit votre niveau. Je vous recommande vivement Bigorno si vous souhaitez passer votre PADI ou autres niveaux ou juste vous régaler sous l’eau, vous êtes au bon endroit. Merci encore, on repart avec pleins de belle images et de beaux souvenirs

Lasse N2023-08-19Excellent diving experience My wife and I have had the pleasure of 4 dives with Jordan from Bigorno. The rental equipment was excellent, and the service tip-top. They offered pick up at our hotel and had prepared everything on the boat for us. Our best dives on Mauritius so far has been with Bigorno. All in all we highly recommend Bigorno!

Sophia Wi2023-10-04Meine Schwester und ich haben unseren OWD beim Bigorno Diving Center gemacht und waren mehr als zufrieden! Mit viel Spaß und einem großen Fokus auf Sicherheit wurde uns das Tauchen beigebracht. Der Umgang unter den Kollegen wirkt total entspannt und man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Falls ich mal wieder auf Mauritius bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder vorbei :)

Kounal really made us feel comfortable all the way through our advanced diver course and we enjoyed the good atmosphere on the boat with the entire Bigorno team every trip out onto the Reef. Jordan, Kounal and the team really know the reef in Trou aux Biches like their back pocket and were spot on with helping us find whichever fish/turtle/octopus we were hoping to find on the dive of the day. c c2023-09-08Very Competent, helpful and friendly Staff. What I especially liked about the dive shop is the high ratio of guides to customers: On all my dives, Bigorno had one guide per two customers (or three at maximum). All the guides I dove with take great care to make sure everybody is safe and you get to see fishes etc. If you do multiple dives, they will even try to adapt the dive site (wreck or reef, depth) and diving style (slow / fast) for you. Safe diving practises are followed throughout (including proper briefing, safety stops, etc.) The staff is careful to maintain the equipment and keep it in good working order. They also take care to not damage the reefs and making sure customers don't either. Best way to get in contact is over WhatsApp where you can simply ask questions and get answers or book a trip. What dive site gets visited is usually decided the day before. Some of the dive sites are really close together. Bigorno takes advantage of this and drops different groups off at different dive sites based on experience, excercises and interest. You can pay by credit card with a 3% transaction fee.
